Kuwait Red Crescent Sends Humanitarian Aid to Sudan
According to information in Kuwait’s official news agency KUNA, the Kuwait Red Crescent sent significant aid to Sudan, where armed conflicts are intense, following the floods that occurred there. As part of the aid, the fourth plane of the air bridge providing humanitarian support to Sudan successfully took off.
This aid plane carried 10 tons of food and other aid supplies to those affected by floods, inundation and the worsening humanitarian crisis in Sudan. It was stated that the Kuwait Red Crescent will continue its efforts to help the people of Sudan.
On the other hand, Sudanese authorities announced on August 8 that 65 people have lost their lives as a result of heavy rainfall in 7 states of the country since June. This situation further complicates the country’s humanitarian situation and increases the need for urgent aid.
