Reaction to Attack on TRT Team
Kurtulmuş made a statement on his social media account, saying, “I strongly condemn the vile attack carried out by the occupying Israeli forces against the TRT team on duty. I convey my wishes for a speedy recovery to our members of the press and TRT. “
Kurtulmuş also continued as follows:
- International Law and Criminal Liability:“Netanyahu and his gang, who are trying to cover up their crimes, will sooner or later be held accountable for their actions, even if they try to avoid the punishment that international law will impose.”
- Media Freedom:“The freedom and security of members of the press are the cornerstones of democracy. Such attacks harm not only individuals but entire societies.”
Finally, Kurtulmuş called on the international community to take a stronger stance against such attacks.
