While preparing the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, Küçükçekmece Municipality organized a ‘Youth Workshop’ to include young people in the process. The workshop emphasized public participation in shaping the future of the city, emphasizing a transparent and participatory management approach.
In Mayor Kemal Çebi’s opening speech, it was emphasized that the steps to be taken should be determined in line with the wishes and needs of not only the municipal administration but also the people. Unit managers, academicians and many students attended the workshop, where young people could convey their projects and opinions.

Mayor Kemal Çebi valued the opinions of young people and the society and thanked the participants. He emphasized the importance of young people by saying, “The duty of local governments is to provide services to the citizens’ living space and not to deviate from the principles of social municipality while doing this.”
Youth Survey and Evaluation
In the survey conducted for young people before the workshop, the most successful services were determined as social facilities, libraries, culture and art events, environment and green area services and youth festivals. The most requested services were employment, sports activities, library, environment and green area services and culture and arts activities.

Following the workshop, the youth survey results were evaluated and the necessary work was aimed to be carried out. Istanbul Aydın University students presented a plaque of appreciation to President Kemal Çebi.
