While Kay Süt is known as one of Turkey’s well-established milk brands, it turned out that the company was facing financial problems. It was stated that Kay Süt, which was transferred to Ankara-based Yıldızlar SSS Holding, filed for bankruptcy and requested concordat.
It was reported that Kay Süt’s factory located in Balıkesir’s Altıeylül District will be put up for sale due to financial difficulties. It was announced that the factory, which belongs to Mar Tüketim Maddeleri AŞ and Garanti Bank is a creditor, will be put up for sale for 668 million TL.
It was stated that the sale tender will take place on July 16. While Kay Süt has been among the preferences of consumers for many years with its quality products and reliable brand image, it is considered an important development in the sector with the financial crisis it experienced
