Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command’s Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate teams achieved a significant success in the operation they carried out within the scope of the fight against smuggling.
As a result of the studies, a person trying to sell illegal mobile phones obtained from the eastern provinces was identified in Eskişehir. Taking action quickly, Tepebaşı District Gendarmerie Command and KOM Branch Directorate teams organized an operation to capture the suspects.
As a result of the operation, the suspect was caught, and a total of 17 smuggled mobile phones were seized in his bag. It was stated that, upon the instructions of the Public Prosecutor, legal proceedings were initiated against the suspect for the crime of “Violation of the Anti-Smuggling Law”.
