A fire broke out in a parked vehicle on Şinasi Bahçe Street in Kiramettin District, Menteşe district of Muğla. In the incident, the vehicle with plate number 48 ACC 815 belonging to the owner of the vehicle, Mustafa Çetin, was severely damaged.
As a result of the rapid intervention of the citizens, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Menteşe Fire Department Group Directorate teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire was extinguished by the successful intervention of the fire teams, but the vehicle was seriously damaged. While cooling efforts were ongoing, it was determined that the fire was caused by electric current.
While the investigation into the details of the incident continues, a larger disaster was prevented thanks to the citizens’ quick notification of the fire brigade and the rapid response of the teams.
