Esenyurt Mayor Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer made important calls for preparations against earthquake risk. Emphasizing the need to use assembly areas for their intended purpose, Mayor Özer said, “We must address these issues and do what is necessary.”
In order to raise disaster awareness, the municipality decided to provide earthquake awareness training to the personnel of the businesses in the district. In the trainings given by the Disaster Affairs Directorate, what to do before and after the earthquake was explained in detail.
The participants, who received their certificates as a result of the training given to the business personnel, were presented by President Prof. Dr. He expressed his gratitude to Ahmet Özer. Şükrü Alikaya, a business manager, said the following about the training: “I would like to thank our Mayor of Esenyurt, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer. A team of 15 people shared both theoretical and practical information with us during the training. “Our staff is aware of earthquakes and the precautions they will take for us.” “It is very valuable.
