In the sad incident that took place in the Efirli Neighborhood of Ordu’s Perşembe district, the electric current disaster that occurred in the water park where citizens went to cool off caused great sadness.
In the incident, 8-year-old Elif Naz Derdiyokoğlu, who entered the water park, was electrocuted and was in mortal danger. The business owner Mustafa Kemal Günay, who noticed the situation, was also electrocuted and seriously injured while trying to save the child.
Elif Naz Derdiyokoğlu, who was rescued with the intervention of the surrounding citizens, was immediately taken to Ordu State Hospital and received treatment. Unfortunately, the owner of the business, Mustafa Kemal Günay, who intervened heroically, could not be saved and lost his life despite all efforts.
After the painful incident, it was stated that Elif Naz Derdiyokoğlu’s condition remained serious and she was referred to a private hospital in Samsun. It was learned that the little girl came to the water park for a children’s swimming club event on the day of the incident.
While the investigation launched by the gendarmerie teams continues, the details of the incident are being meticulously investigated.
