Efeler Municipality strictly inspects empty lands in order to minimize fire hazards throughout the district. Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate teams continue to take effective measures to prevent possible negative situations and fires.
Teams meticulously examine empty plots of land with dried grass that poses a potential fire risk due to high temperatures. Detailed investigations are carried out on the determined lands in line with the discoveries made on the streets of the district and the notices received from the citizens.
Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate employees send notices to the owners of the lands they have identified, giving them 10 days to clean them. When citizens who cannot have their lands cleaned by their own means apply to Efeler Municipality, the cleaning work for the determined lands is carried out by invoicing per square meter.
Efeler Mayor Anıl Gençlik made a statement on the subject and said, “Ensuring the safety of our citizens is our primary duty. We are carrying out meticulous work in our district to prevent fires and ensure that our people live in peace. I invite all our “citizens to be sensitive and to cooperate with the Efeler Municipality.”
