Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Bülent Turan celebrated Eid al-Adha by coming together with the personnel working in the gendarmerie, police and coast guard commands. Turan made a holiday visit with the personnel of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, Provincial Police Department and Coast Guard Western Marmara Group Command.
Turan congratulated the staff on their holidays and wished them success in their duties. In his statement following his visit, he stated the following:
“Our state has a deep-rooted structure with traditions. The sense of unity and solidarity among public officials is an important part of our state tradition. Today, we came together and celebrated with the members of our police, gendarmerie and coast guard organizations, which are the institutions responsible for our security. This unity is a service to our country. “It allowed us to experience once again the pride and honor of doing so.”
