The forest fire, which broke out in Buldan district, Helvacılar District Tekke location, was taken under control with rapid intervention. The fire, for which a clear cause has not yet been determined, was extinguished by Denizli Regional Directorate of Forestry teams.
The teams, who were dispatched to the region after the incident was reported, made intense efforts to combat the fire. In addition to the fire brigade and gendarmerie teams, 1 helicopter, 10 water trucks, 3 construction machines, 2 dozers and 4 fire trucks also supported the firefight.
While the fire was brought under control as a result of the coordinated work of the teams, unfortunately approximately 1 hectare of forest area was damaged. However, thanks to rapid intervention, the fire was prevented from turning into a bigger disaster.
