The forest fire that occurred in the Genç district of Bingöl was brought under control with a rapid and effective intervention. The fire started in the forest area in Yeniyazı village and was noticed by the residents of the area and immediately notified the Provincial Forest Management Directorate teams. Genç Municipality Fire Department and gendarmerie teams were also dispatched to the scene and the fire was extinguished before it could grow.
