Biden’s Statements on Gaza
US President Joe Biden came to the White House with his national security team to evaluate the latest situation in Gaza and discuss a possible ceasefire agreement that will ensure the release of captives. Answering questions from members of the press, Biden touched upon an important issue.
A press member asked Biden the following question: “Mr. President, do you think it is time for Prime Minister Netanyahu to do more on the agreement? “Do you think Netanyahu is doing enough?”Biden to this question “no”he replied.
On the other hand, the occupying Israeli army announced that 6 bodies of Israeli prisoners were found during the ongoing conflicts in Gaza. This situation was met with great sadness by the platform formed by the families of Israeli prisoners held in Gaza. Finally, the platform “Insisting on continuing the occupation of the Philadelphi Corridor on the Gaza-Egypt border line and undermining prisoner exchange agreements”He held Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responsible for the deaths of 6 Israeli prisoners.
Prime Minister Netanyahu, on the other hand, argued that the government was determined to reach an agreement for the release of the remaining prisoners and claimed that Hamas was responsible for the failure to reach an agreement. This situation has further increased the existing tension between the parties.
