Ağrı Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams carried out a remarkable operation in the road control and safety application in Doğubayazıt district. During a search of a stopped vehicle, customs smuggled materials worth 638 thousand TL were seized.
In the statement made by Ağrı Governorship, the following information about the operation was included: “As a result of a detailed search of the vehicle stopped by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams during the road control and safety application in Doğubayazıt district, customs smuggled materials worth approximately 638 thousand TL were seized.”
Among the confiscated contraband materials; 100 kilos of cat food, 184 kilos of dog food, 40 pairs of sports shoes, 463 t-shirts, 263 shirts, 209 dresses, 343 trousers and 86 jackets. One suspect was detained within the scope of the operation and a judicial investigation was launched against him.
