Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate carried out a successful operation against the suspects wanted for the crime of ‘Propaganda for an Armed Terrorist Organization’. Within the scope of simultaneous operations, 6 suspects who were found to be making propaganda for PKK/KCK-TKP-ML-THKP-C terrorist organizations were caught in the operations carried out in Efeler, Germencik, Söke and Sultanhisar districts.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects who were caught and detained and they have been referred to judicial authorities. Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command stated that it will continue its determined work in the fight against terrorism and will continue its operations to ensure public peace and security without interruption.
