In the tragic incident that took place in Ankara’s Kızılcahamam district, Syrian brothers Muhammed, Ali and Ahmet Erzinga, who went to Pazar Neighborhood for a picnic, entered Pazar Creek, which is connected to Kurtboğaz Dam, to cool off. But unfortunately, this cooling break ended tragically.
After a while, the brothers disappeared into the water and could not be saved despite the efforts of those around them. Upon notice, gendarmerie, medical teams and AFAD divers were dispatched to the scene. As a result of their search in the stream, divers found the dead bodies of 3 brothers.
After the incident, the brothers’ bodies were taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy. This sad event created an even deeper sadness because it took place during an enjoyable event such as a picnic. It is important for all our citizens to be careful when entering the water and to always prioritize their life safety.
